Dear Ms. Held

My name is (ESME E KHOD RAA BENEVISID) and I am a landed immigrant to Canada as of (TAARIKH E LANDED SHODAN E SHOMAA).

I would like to affirm a note of concern previously sent to your office regarding a Ms. Mahmoodi (or Mahmoudi) in IOM's training/briefing facility in Tehran / Iran providing false and disrespectful information to immigration applicants to Canada regarding the status of human rights in this country.

She has also been providing outdated information and wrong advice in several occasions.

In one specific incident she mentioned the following as the human rights hierarchy in Canada:

1.Children,
2.Seniors,
3.Women,
4.Dogs,
5.Men

As a resident of Canada who had once gone through the immigration process, I find this most disturbing that a person, based on whatever personal agenda or problem, should feel free to bring forward such false and insulting ideas in a briefing session for soon-to-be residents of Canada.

I do believe that IOM provides great comfort, guidance and help to a vast group of immigrants around the world and should not allow the unsolicited and irresponsible behavior of some troubled personalities distort the image of Canada in the fresh minds of many future citizens of this country and/or elevate the stress level in their last remaining weeks before their departure to their new home,

Thus I would expect nothing short of a full investigation on this matter.

I am forwarding a copy of this email to The Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration of Canada for her attention.

I trust my personal information will be kept confidential.

همانطور که قبلا گفتم این رفتار ناشایست و ارائه مطالب نادرست و توهین آمیز – حتی اگر بظاهر طنز و شوخی هم گفته شده باشد – در یک جلسه توجیحی رسمی که از سوی معتبرترین موسسه بین المللی خدمات مهاجرت برگزار شده، به هیچ عنوان قابل پذیرش نیست و تخطی آشکار از مسولیت این شخص – یا اشخاص مربوطه- می باشد و باید مورد بازرسی و تصحیح قرار بگیرد. این فرد – یا افراد- تحت هیچ شرایطی مجاز به توهین به یک گروه یا به مسخره گرفتن یک شخص یا برنامه های وی برای آینده یا حتی دیدگاه وی از کانادا نیستند و تا وقتی تحت پوشش این سازمان به فعالیت ادامه می دهند نمی توانند نظرات – و یا غرض ورزی های فردی خود – را وارد بحث کنند.

نباید عادت عامه و سنتی ایرانی در دادن اختیار تام به معلم و باز گذاشتن دست او در گفتن هر نوع مطلب و داشتن ریاست مطلق بر جلسه باعث شود تا از همین اولین قدم های مهاجرت بپذیریم که کسی بخود اجازه تعرض به شخصیت و حقوق ما را بدهد.

این احقاق حق – ولو بظاهر کوچک و قدیمی – هم مشمول شما می شود و هم لطفی است بزرگ به هموطنان دیگر شما که در این جلسات شرکت می کنند و مورد توهین و آزار قرار می گیرند و یا با اطلاعات نادرست دریافتی، مسیر ترقی خود را اشتباه می چینند و مورد صدمه مالی و روحی قرار می گیرند.

اگر قرار بود که ما بعد از خاتمه پروسه مهاجرت و گرفتن اقامت دایم، بقیه هموطنان توی صف را فراموش کنیم، امروز این وبلاگ وجود نداشت.
